You Overdo Everything – Bipolar II Chronis Hypo Mania Exposed

womanonhilltopIt’s really screwed up.  I have always overdone everything, and I’m medicated for hypomania aka extremism yet, continues to overdo big, and little things.

A server comes to my table at a restaurant with a pepper grinder or a Parmesan cheese grater to sprinkle cheese over my food and says “Tell me when.”  And he pours and pours and screws the pepper onto my plate and starts to look at me like “What the F?”

“Ok, that’s enough.” I say. And to think that I say stop to avoid the “What the hell is going on here” usual response.  I like sauce with some pasta, and cheese overriding it all, ok.

Then you have the big things like my car is in the shop and I need to get to the repair shop so, let’s just walk there.  Let’s walk from West Hollywood to Burbank, and take five hours to get there but, who cares!  No big deal.

When you are an extremist, you find it biting you in the face in a world where it’s normalcy to you.

What can I say, you may be hypo manic, balls to the wall, hard core, let’s do this and do it to the max but, it just goes to show…behavior you’ve entertained for a lifetime doesn’t stop with a pill.  And it never will.

Pass the pepper please.
