ADHD Awareness Month: 3 Things To Remember
October is ADHD Awareness Month. Do you or a loved one suffer from ADHD? If so, continue reading this article. This article demonstrates three tips to gain awareness of your understanding of ADHD and provide you with moral support.
You Should Not Judge Yourself Just Because You Have ADHD
On a first note, you should not judge yourself just because you have ADHD. You are unique in your own special way. You were created uniquely and specially. Recognize this. Entertain this. You are your own person with or without a diagnosis of ADHD. A diagnosis of ADHD does not define you. You define yourself. This is a noteworthy cause. Recognize this. The moment you realize this you are in control of yourself and your ADHD does not control you.
You Should Not Judge Anyone With ADHD
In addition to not judging yourself just because you have ADHD, you should not judge anyone else if they have ADHD. It is not right to judge others. You do not know what other people are going through. This is important. It might make them feel worse about themselves. Respect them for who they are. They are a unique person just like you. Keep this in mind. Do not judge them. Respect them with full strength and dignity.
If You Do Not Respect Yourself, Who Is Going To Respect You?
On a third and final note, in addition to you should not judge yourself just because you have ADHD and you should not judge others just because they have ADHD, if you do not respect yourself, who is going to respect you? Seriously! Who is going to respect you? You have to respect yourself first and foremost to gain respect from other people. This is a golden rule. Live up to it. Realize it. Respect it.
To end this article, in recognition of ADHD Awareness Month, three tips have been brought up in awareness of this special month. They include: you should not judge yourself just because you have ADHD, you should not judge others just because they have ADHD. In addition, if you do not have respect for yourself, who is going to respect you? These are all important tips to remember. However, they all revolve around one dimension; respect. You need to respect yourself first. If you do not respect yourself first, you are not going to see any results.
