Introduction

Test time in colleges is approaching.  Are you a college student with ADHD?  Do you have test anxiety too?  Do you dread taking tests?  If so, this article is for you.  This article will explore tips for students with ADHD to better prepare for tests.  They include: making sure you buy the textbook prior to the beginning of the semester, studying for the exam at least a week prior to the beginning of the semester, in addition to not studying in the dorm room but rather the library.

Make Sure You Buy The Textbook Prior To The Beginning Of The Semester

The first tip to ace your first exam of the semester is to buy the textbook.  Many students make this mistake.  This is especially important if you have ADHD.  Many professors take test questions from the text book.  Do not make this mistake.  Make sure to buy the textbook prior to the beginning of the semester.

Study For Your Exam At Least A Week Prior To The Beginning Of The Semester

The second tip for acing your first exam of the semester is to study for the exam at least a week prior to the beginning of the semester. Cramming for college exams never works, especially when they are cumulative.  It may work in high school but will not work in college.  Try to study at least a week in advance.  This way you will be thoroughly prepared for your exam.

Do Not Study In Your Dorm Room; Study In The Library

On a third note to ace your first exam of the semester, do not study in your dorm room.  Instead, study in the library.  When you are in your dorm room, there are a lot of distractions.  There is your roommate, other people talking, etc.  The library is quiet.  You will be a lot more efficient in the library.  Do your work in the library.

Conclusion

Studying for your first college exam of the semester can be a stressful experience, especially if you have ADHD.  This article has provided practical, valuable tips to individuals with ADHD to ace their first college exam of the semester.  They include: making sure you buy the textbook prior to the beginning of the semester, studying for the exam at least a week prior to the beginning of the semester, in addition to not studying in the dorm room but rather the library.
