You don’t often hear the perspective of a young adult and how they deal with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or attention deficit disorder (ADD). Young adults often have to grapple with the challenges of the disorder on their own. Worse yet, others may suggest they’re faking it, or don’t need medications to help with it.
Living with ADHD presents daily challenges. I believe more can be done to share some of those challenges with others — and how to cope with them.
That’s why I’m pleased to introduce the Living with ADHD blog with Lauren Walters. Lauren is a writer and a graduate student in the field of Mental Health Counseling. You can learn more about her here.
Please give Lauren a warm Psych Central welcome!
