    I have a small walk-in closet, it’s very quiet and very dark if the light is off. When I’ve had a really stressful day my favorite thing to do is go in and lay down on the floor, sometimes with my dog – the black silence is like a void. I just lay there until my mind calms, can be 10 or 15 minutes sometimes. And then I’m ready to come out and be normal again. Another lesser option is to lay down comfortably with a pillow snug over my head – wrapped around tightly or pressed firmly over my forehead. Always works, is very comforting.
