    PDT can alter one’s thinking. No matter what he/she achieves but still feels demotivated and wasted. Such parental behavior can cause depressiondepression
    in child.

    I always felt so bad at home and so great in school.

    The teachers always gave me good marks and I loved my friends.

    I still thrive at work and couldn’t care less for creating a family unit. From what I hear from the friends who did recreate the family unit, being the parent is way harder than being the kid.

    I secretly thank mother for not buying into the need for a house, 2 cars and 2 kids. It might have made my childhood a bit harder, but it’s making my adulthood a lot more enjoyable.
