    I wholeheartedly agree with your article. As adults, we must not push away what happened to us when we were little, that only traps us in the past. It is extremely painful to take off the rose colored glasses you mentioned, and face what happened in honesty. It takes guts, determination and time. Thank you. Shirley

    Hey these things you so truly write about happen to sons too!
    It’s about time somebody with “authority” like you wrote these truths!! Thanks for all of us who suffer this.
