    If parents want grateful children, Mom and Dad need to work on themselves, because a parent that buys everything for their kid isn’t paying attention to their own feelings.

      I really like the way Marie Hartwell-Walker, Ed.D focused on Empathetic Towards Others.

      “Take the kids for a walk in others’ shoes. Treat children with the same courtesy and empathy as we would any adult. Kids who are loved and treated well have a template for how to treat others. Kids learn what they live”.

      Something about walking in the step of others can teach deep long lasting values…good and sometimes bad. But let us focus on the good.
