VIDEO: DBSA Stronger Together Conference “Stand-Up for Mental Health”

A while back, well it’s been almost a year, I was at the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) 2013 Conference Miami. The theme was “Stronger Together”.  As the Mental Health Humor cartoonist at the conference, I got to share many of my cartoons…AND take part in my third Stand-Up for Mental Health comedy show.  The video of the the show was lost due to technical issues.  The videographer audio was not working right. So all you have is a clean video with an annoying humming buzz sound, much like my voice.

Fortunately one of my fellow BP HOPE Bloggers Melody Moezzi was there: She is a writer, attorney, speaker, activist, a United Nations Global Expert and award-winning author. Her latest book is Haldol and Hyacinths: A Bipolar Life.  Her husband was kind enough to video my act.  He emailed it to me and I put it on a SD disk so I would not lose it. Of course, I then lost the SD disk till yesterday.  🙂

I’m updating my DBSA “Stronger Together” conference video to share it during these challenging times. My goal is to help you laugh a little bit and hopefully you find something I say funny.
