Spam the Curse of Cyber Monday

Cyber Monday, if you ever experienced mania this is not going to be a good day for us.  No not because we may go on a manic spending spree! It will be a day full of spam and junk emails.

It’s the day of personal data checks and balances! A day EVERY website in the world, with our email we’ve opt-in, will contact you at once!

If you’re like me, that could equal to thousands of spam since black Friday.  I’ve known I opt-ed into lots of sites to get a free pdf file. Or they required my email for confirmation. Whatever the case, if I gave them permission, they are sending me two or three emails to buy something.

I woke up with 333 promotion cyber Monday (used Gmail search “Cyber Monday” to get the count) emails from places I don’t even remember signing up but I sure I opted in.

Usually, I would just opt-in get what I need then mark it as spam when I get sick of getting their emails. I’m sure doing this took opted me out of a lot email list.

Still, I feel like this weekend is a free pass to send me email spam!

But I’m fighting back. Today, I will be identifying all the places that are sending me junk and unsubscribe the hell out of them!

I’m calling it Unsubscribe Monday. I’m taking control of today to clean out my junk email.

Well right after I check out the GOING…GOING…Doorbusters.

OMG, look at all the 50% off deals!!!  Okay, I have to go (end this post) before I miss out on the deals!

We’ve talked about taking medication the last few blog posts.  Whether you are for medication or for something stronger and all natural like COFFEE, I feel it’s a personal choice.
