As of this month, Recreational marijuana is legal in nine states and medical marijuana is legal in 31 states.
In 2015, a first of its kind study to look at the “impact of cannabis use on psychiatric hospital” was conducted between April 20, 2015 to October 20, 2015. My first thought was the impact is: if you give people Marijuana as a treatment, then Mary Jane is not leaving the hospital any time soon.
Chato Stewart: A study says medical marijuana shortens psychiatric hospitalization.
Doctor: Then, why are you here?
Chato Stewart: I wanna volunteer to be an outpatient tester.
The study was looking to find if cannabis use could effectively be a tool for reducing need “for expensive and scarce mental health resources, such as psychiatric hospitalization.” There were one hundred twenty participants and I’m sure 100% medication compliance.
How does one get picked for a Medical Marijuana Study? Is there a lottery? I always wondered if they pay you for participation? Or if you get compensated for smoking weed in Oreos, Twinkies, and Cheetos?
*Oklahoma became the 30th state to legalize medical marijuana on Wednesday.

We’ve talked about taking medication the last few blog posts. Whether you are for medication or for something stronger and all natural like COFFEE, I feel it’s a personal choice.
