We’ve talked about taking medication the last few blog posts. Whether you are for medication or for something stronger and all natural like COFFEE, I feel it’s a personal choice. One thing is for sure, I feel medication should not be forced on me, BUT I willing let you force coffee, chocolate, and pizza on me any time.
I was inspired by a fellow artist Nanea Hoffman of Sweatpants & Coffee. She has some really funny cartoons about coffee among other topics. More about Artist below here.
Hope And Dreams Of Taking Depression Medication
Things I hope to find in my coffee depression medication!
- Meaning of Life
- To sleep and not wake up exhausted and tired
- X-Ray vision
- Peace of mind or a piece of chocolate
- Apathy control – could someone show me the Always On button?
- Find the guide to fake it till you make it
- Willpower to eat the last slice of pizza.
- Car keys where are my keys
- Forget about it – just give me the coffee!
Finding The Hopes And Dreams Cartoon
Content gets stolen and scraped all the time, I hate it but it’s a fact of blogging. One Evil scraper stole a lot of my post and cartoons along with many other cartoonists. Jerks! Anyway at one site if say a bunch of my cartoons being edited to remove my title and trying to edit out my signature. HUGE JERKS! That when I saw what I would I’m calling “Hope and Dreams about Coffee.”
They cropped the off the lower part of the image and the side so bad that some of the words were cropped as well. I hate when people use artist work without giving them at least giving them credit. But this cartoons was funny and it made my day.
Here what I remembered, righted off I chuckled and laughed. It was really funny to me, I love coffee! Then I thought instantly Ya, I have “Hopes And Dreams for my medication.”
So I jotted the cartoon idea on a piece of scrap paper and went about my day… A few weeks later I sketched a rough with the idea of my Over-Medicated.com Cartoon series style pill bottle. The bottle would share their “hopes and dreams” for the success of the medication. It would be in the style of something I’ve drawn before but this time with the influence of the cartoon illustration form the other day.
Still, I wanted to know who drew the cartoon illustration with such a wise wisdom. Finding Hoffman…
Nanea Hoffman of Sweatpants & Coffee
I’m good at finding stuff online, but then again today everyone is thank to Google. I just know a few extra tricks that only 70% of the population know now, and I know a few extra than only 50% of them care about, and I keep looking that only 20% of them bother with, and then I search via extra borning ways; that anyone with a life would have given up.
Never the less I was going to find the cartoons again. Searching “hopes and dreams coffee” was to wide a search… I went to “hope Dream” and bing-go found the cartoon on would you know-it what look like a scrape site. LOL!
