Where Are They Now: Mental Health Hero: Kristin Selby Gonzalez

Drawing the many Mental Health Heroes was such a joy.  When I started drawing the Caricatures  back in 2010, I got to meet such wonderful, brilliant, encouraging, advocates and peers. Many I still follow via social media, their blogs, vlogs, in print. They have helped hundreds of thousands of peers.

Let us check in on some of our past Mental Health Heros in a “Where Are They Now?” series.

Kristin Selby Gonzalez  (MHHero 2013)

Kristin S. Gonzalez as Mental Health (Autism) Hero.  She advocates tirelessly not just for her son on the spectrum. Nope, she helps thousands of families.

Case in point the work Kristin does at Autism Hope Alliance (where she serves as President)… “has helped give education, resources and spread HOPE to over 49,000.”

Working with their support sponsors, they have built a program called Autism Pantry Program.  It introduces families to special foods, supplements, books, cleaners, toys and other crucial supplies. All from Natural Products companies and the Autism community.

AHA holds social media giveaways. To date over $775K in retail has been given to families nationwide.  Every family who wants/needs support can go to AHA right now and enter to win FREE giveaways from Autism Pantry Program.
