BrainStroming: Brain Freeze – Me Freeze
What is Brainfreeze? The scientific name for Brain Freeze is sphenopalatine ganglioneuralgia meaning “nerve pain of the sphenopalatine ganglion.” It’s a super fast, and painful type of a headache.
What to do when you’re stuck with the – BRAIN FREEZE?
Brain freeze will clear up on itself by itself. It ‘s short lived. Nevertheless, if you want to quicken the brain freeze relief, press your tongue to the roof of your mouth.
Others have suggested using your thumb on the roof of your mouth. My question is with germs today, do you know where your thumb is, you should wash your hands before you put it in your mouth. By the time you are washing hands, the brain freeze could be gone.
Others have suggested drinking warm water, not scalding hot or hot water. But swish around a little room temperature water in your mouth.
I find screaming in agony and pain while clenching my head, works about as good as all the other remedies.
In short, if you don’t want brain freeze, take it slow on frozen items.
