It has been a good start/restart to eating better and taking better care of  my mental health and physical health.  As of this week, I’m down 16.lbs.  In my diet post, I talked about my obsession with my hi-speed blender.  That post got a good run. I was very happy and honored to see my cartoon and that post picked Psych Central’s Best of Our Blogs: August 27, 2013.

What a joy to receive validation with my blog post Diet: I get HIGH on SPEEDI am so happy that I wanted to give you my special FEEL GOOD recipe for my Ham and Swiss Smoothie.  Here is what it looks like – ya, it’s green, but it tastes great!

Happiness Is As Simple As A Ham and Swiss Cheese Smoothie

My NutriBullet Ham and Swiss Cheese Smoothie:

  • 1 oz. Ham
  • 1 oz. Swiss Cheese
  • 1/2 Tomato
  • 1.5 Celery stick
  • Fist full of Spinach
  • 2 tablespoons Flax Seed Flower (I only added it cause I have it.)
  • Fresh Coriander but you can use Cilantro in a pinch (that is cook humor if you know what Coriander is, if not just use Cilantro)
  • 1 tablespoon of Jalapeno cream cheese – (this stuff is STRONG so, don’t over do it)
  • Pinch salt substitute
  • and bullet it!
