Do you obsess about things that really have no huge impact on your life?  You just can’t stop letting it preoccupy your mind!  I do, and some of the stuff fills my mind continually, for no reason, and it drives me up a wall! Sometimes I obsess over what I “believe” others are saying about me even if they’ve only just glanced my way. Instantly, my brain imputes bad motives for the glance.  That falls into my paranoid state and if I catch it in time, I usually recognize and dismiss it as a symptom of my diagnosis.

I’ve been obsessing about this FC2 LOGO contest. I can’t get the stupid thing out of my head. Yes, I want to win, but the prize is only a $50.00 gift card at Amazon. It does not balance out all the work I put into drawing it and promoting it. Gosh, you would think it was for a huge prize the way I’ve been bugging my Facebook and Twitter Friends about voting for it… SORRY about that peeps!!

No huge prize other then my own pride here at work for me to win.  Can one be obsessed about pride? Or am I mislabeling self-esteem as pride? Even now, I’ve been intrusively thinking how can I get more votes.

It’s very troubling –  to the extent that I’m blogging about it.  Well at least, I’m constructively analyzing and accepting the issue! Now maybe I can move on from this. But just in case, vote for me anyway….THANKS!!  It ends on the 29th, maybe then I can stop thinking about this dumb drawing I did and having to get votes for it.

Next time I bug all my friends over a contest, I’m going to make sure it’s for a huge prize!

Please vote for my Fan Art I drew for an Art contest:

IT’s OVER – and so is my obsession!  For now anyway! I will keep you updated.

Please vote – Hit the vote button above… thanks!
