Title:  Yes, we need to face our fears. Surely this doesn’t mean our fear of getting hit in the face with a fast ball!  Right?

Only Thing We Have to Fear Is Fear Itself

It has been a while since I’ve had a full-blown anxiety attack.  Is this because I have been taking medication to offset the anxiety?  Nope!  Is itbecause I am using cognitive therapy to deal with the anxiety? Nope!  Then tell me, Chato, why is your anxiety GONE?!

I don’t know! 

I’m not going to start worrying about it or when it might come back.  I’m just going to “enjoy” the time I have and try to let go of things that have crippled me emotionally.  Oh great, now I’m getting worried thinking ‘what if  I can’t let go of the emotional turmoil?’  ‘What if I fail, I’ll be failing you, my readers.’  (Oh god, I’m such a failure!)  I can’t be telling you what to do when I can’t even get out of my own shadow…Great, there I go with the worrying and I can feel the anxiety building…

Okay, this was a test of our Emergency Anxiety System… THIS WAS ONLY A TEST.  Have a good day… 🙂
