    The hardest thing is learning to step back for a second and not react immediately. When we feel our partner has wronged us, we have a tendency to want to protect our selves using destructive actions. We might close down or try to get back at them. This usually leads to arguments and fighting that may last for hours or even days.
    We’ve all heard communication is key, but it is not often that easy when we feel hurt. The act of recognizing our emotions takes a lot of emotional maturity. Building a line of communication can be daunting at first, but like anything; the hardest things is beginning.
