    Very true. We 3 sisters grew up in what I felt was a loving, though imperfect home. Our dad died 11 years ago. We have had 3 awful family divisions ( first occurred when he was alive..over a very small matter but resulted in us being separated for a year) we are presently in a deep divide over my confronting a younger arrogant family member. My mom, a very loving and peaceful person who dedicated her life to family, has been excluded from most of family b/c she and I are so close. What has surfaced time and again is that we 3 have totally different perceptions of her; our family life ; and each other. I’m a psych nurse and find it mind boggling how they can neglect ( this past year) someone I love so much…

    I noticed the same exact thing from my mother and her sisters. It’s like they were all on separate planets and none of them were hospitable.
