No More Incest!

Just when you think you’ve seen it all, heard it all, experienced it all, that’s when you discover life can get sicker, more warped, more twisted, more disgusting than you ever imagined.

My ex husband was sexually molest by his sister when he was 10/11 and she was 13/14. When he finally admitted what had happened it all made sense. I was jealous of his sister the entire time we were married because he held her as the ideal woman. I can see now he loves her in an unhealthy way. When we were married (30 yrs) He used prostitues, erotic massage parlors, was a peeping tom masturbating while he watched college girls at the swimming pool and porn addict. He always made me believe his choices were my fault. I struggle in every way possible and like most narcissists, he has gone on to live as though nothing ever happened. I blame it all on his sister.

What a painful tale. You have all my sympathy. It was not your fault. The damage was done long ago and you and I had no clue what we were getting into. Having not experienced hard-core incest myself, I missed all the clues.

I hope you can find love and happiness with a healthy man instead of one who was so broken by incest.

Wow! Thank you for addressing this topic! I would like to add another category that was not listed:female perpetrated sexual abuse on female victims (mother-daughter/step-mother-step-daughter; aunt-niece; grandmother-granddaughter). My mother was abused by my grandfather and most likely was covertly abused by my grandmother. My mother was my abuser. She tried to instill (gaslight) me into believing various men had abused me. I had gone no contact shortly before she passed away. I wrote/sent her a letter stating that I needed time and that our boundaries had been crossed for a very long time, which she did take to mean that she had abused me but denied all the same. Again thank you for addressing the topic of incest. I just needed to expand on it.
