The Tragedy Of Charles Manson

“I can’t dislike you, but I will say this to you: you haven’t got long before you are all going to kill yourselves, because you are all crazy. And you can project it back at me, but I am only what lives inside each and every one of you.” Charles Manson

Who exactly is Charles Manson? To many the quick answer is mass murderer. That however is far to simplistic an answer. Charles Manson is an artist, environmentalist, singer, philosopher, cult leader, among other things. But I want to focus on something often over looked, Charles Manson was a victim of abuse.

  1. I believe compassion is a good thing… even for people like Charles Manson. I agree he led a life most could not begin to relate to- in his formative years- and this perhaps created a “monster.” None of that is too far-fetched. A bit of unsolicited advice: don’t compare people like Charles Manson to political figures in order to take a stand against whatever it is you’re so bitter about. You lose all credibility right there.

    • Thank you for your words. I think if you ever heard Charles Manson speak the destruction of the world by our leaders was something he espoused.
