One thought on “Depression – It’s A Family Affair

If it is a family then why do i have to hide it from them?

My oldest, who lives 10 miles away and whose home I am in 3/4 times a week says simply about most anything…I have enough stress in my life with autism. My mother recently, on the phone, gave my comments no weight at all…a sort of denial that it exists, but then my mother has been in to denial for years about other things in the family.

I struggle every single day! And, hiding is not a good thing and is sad to have to do. My meds do help, and I can’t miss a single day, if I do the result is not a good thing to see.

Maybe if they had to walk in my shoes for a single day they would have some understanding of what I feel every day.

I could go on and on, but I will stop here.
