One thought on “Adult Parent-Child Relationships Around The World

I have 3 daughters ages ranging from 27 down to 17. My oldest daughter and I have always had conflict, some of it expected, some not so much. I see my self as a firm parent, but liberal. My entire paradigm of my relationship between myself and older daughter changed dramatically 6 years ago when she was diagnosed with kidney failure. She doesn’t live with me, but if she calls I jump. She is abusive verbally, and acts life a 15 year old when I don’t succumb to her requests. Punishing me. She only calls when she wants something. I try really hard not to give it to her, but because of her health I’m afraid if I don’t do it for her who will.
