One thought on “Arguing In Front Of The Kids – The Good and the Bad

    Hi Erika;

    I’m a great believer that all relationships should be allowed to sweat and breathe and that this is accomplished by airing our views, opinions, disappointments and also our joys, desires and success’s.

    If a couple inform me that they do not argue or disagree then I would challenge this quite strongly.

    I think the main issue here is ‘how’, ‘when’ and ‘where’ we embark on these discussions.

    Foul language and verbal abuse is for me an absolute nonsensical but children need to learn that it is not the end of the world when two adults argue and that it is perfectly ‘normal’ to behave in an assertive way with our feelings and with each other.

    Remember that children take on board a lot more than we give them credit for most of the time. We are all creatures of learned behaviour.

    Thank you
