Family emotional health resources on the web are a growing need in this Internet age, when most kids are “wired” to get basic information that way. We created a unique, free and open access “virtual classroom” for pre-teens, their parents, teachers and counselors on brain-based coping skills — http://www.copingskills4kids.net. It’s a non-commercial attempt to “democratize” the learning process so more families and schools can understand “The Coping Brain.” In less than 2 years without any funds for marketing the website has been discovered and utilized by over 61,000 youth and adults in every state in the U.S., plus visitors from 160 other countries!

      R Brill,

Thanks for this great looking resource! I’ll take a good look at it and hopefully I can feature it soon on another “Around the Web” issue.
