    Thank you so much for this post! It was very, uhm, validating for me – not only as a reminder of the importance of being seen, also reminding me why I sometimes struggle with Big Emotions: I am highly sensitive…

    Now, how do I learn and practice self-validation? I am guessing learning this will be an important task in my process of (re)parenting myself!

    How do i learn to validate myself? After years of work on myself and then helping others, I am now in a space where I have no sense of belonging and feel worthless and invisible. I have no close relationships.

      sometimes we can’t validate ourselves based on the situation, sometimes we need the validation of others but a way I found to validate myself is by writing out my feelings and what I think or know to be true. you’ll feel it and it’ll feel right I think
