    Self-validation is an important step in building self-esteem and self-love. Many people shame themselves with self-judgment, believing they should act, think, or feel differently than they do. It’s helpful to identify daily all the shoulds and expectations you have of yourself. This is part of being present in the first step.     I read this when I needed it most. I have Bipolar but I have a suspicion that I have Borderline Personality Disorder. I do not have regular cycles but almost an every day emotional roller coaster. I have found this post from the doctor I am hoping to see one day when I can. Thank you so much for writing this.
