I’m a son, former professional now volunteer counselor, inconsistent blogger, semi-passionate online English teacher, mildy manic and, at times, downright depressed man; and the most irreverent Christian but lover of Jesus that you’ll ever meet.

Join me, as I write about the ups and downs of Bipolar Disorder, random thoughts on counseling (I do have a couple psych degrees), the Christian faith as I understand it, my spiritual life, and growing up/interacting with a family that is all too familiar with dysfunction and mental illness but rooted in love and devotion.

I’m here to encourage you and, hopefully, help you see through my good and bad experiences that you are not alone and, hopefully, will be encouraged to open up about your own battles and victories.

Everyone’s life has ups and downs; I’m just here to share mine.
