Beautifully Broken: An Invitation to see your Inner Beauty

House Collage

I’m sure it’s strange to hear a man talk about beauty, but I feel like I must.

Something about his old house caught my eye as I was walking by it.

I know the photography isn’t great, the color is probably off, and the house is well-beyond liveable.

But, something drew me towards it.

I shot and shot and shot.

Today, when reflecting over these pictures, this came to mind.

For whoever it’s intended, may you find peace in your journey.

When you feel broken, useless, and like nobody will ever look your way again.

Remember, you can always catch someone’s eye.

Beauty is a matter of perspective.

See yourself for who you are and not what you look like.  Your body does not encapsulate YOU!
(And here’s a secret–neither do your actions, past, or bad decisions)
Realize that no matter what your place in the world, society, etc; you can affect someone in a positive way. This old house affected me deeply.
Imagine what a life well-lived could do for others!
Sounds like a beautiful life, right?

Change your perspective and you will change your life.
Be well friends,
D6
