    This article was very validating for me. Before retiring, I was often referred to as a workaholic, yet I was always excited to get up each morning and go to work. I would often feel stressed when things went wrong, yet, every time that happened, I felt energized by the new challenge facing me. In working creatively to resolve whatever it was that went wrong, I felt enormous reward and satisfaction. That form of stress always seemed to make me stronger and was most likely conducive to health.
