I like what Julia Cameron has to say in the quote here – that we are really seeking an artist to artist relationship with the Creator and all creation. I think this can also be true for any moments where we interact with and/or manipulate the environment around us.

We can see the artist to artist relationship manifest in athletes when they are in the “flow.” We can also see it in our children when they are so “lost” in play they can’t hear us call them in for dinner. I believe this level of focus is simply a dialogue taking place on a different level of existence, a dialogue with creation.
