Having read dozens of self-help books over the past six months working hard on my CEN issues, I particularly am touched and warmed by a small book called, “12-Steps to Self-Parenting,” by Oliver-Diaz and O’Gorman. Published in 1988 and still available, it has moved me to tears many times by showing me what loving parenting is and how to tenderly apply its principles and thought changes to myself. This little book is charming, unique and emotionally alive.

Thank you for the recommendation, Christine, will follow up!

And many, many thanks to Dr. Webb for her tremendous healing work on behalf of the emotionally neglected. At the age of 67 I finally learned the key to so many of my life instability, struggles, and attraction of self-centered/narcissistic/sociopathic types!

      Happy Healing New Year!

Thank you Jonice! What a great wealth of knowledge for personal growth and development! I would like to add another book I’ve found particularly helpful for those who grew up never discussing feelings or recognizing your needs: Talk RX by Dr Neha is an excellent resource to become emotionally literate, explore your anger/anxiety/discomforts and connect with your true needs and values!

    Thanks again Dr Webb !
