This sounds exactly like me. I either feel anxious, or nothing at all. For the past few years it has tended to be more of nothing at all. I’ve read the book “Running On Empty” and actually got a copy for my sister also, hoping she would read it so maybe she could understand me a little better, but the book ended up on her “some day” shelf. I guess we all have one of those.
I was seeing a wonderful councilor and was making good progress, becoming more in touch with my inner feelings and thoughts and made a really good friend also, but then she retired. She is an older lady and I miss talking with her very much. I’ve looked for another councilor but have had no luck finding one that don’t push religion or have the ability to do their job without referring to a “how to” book on their desk. Dr. Webb’s news letter is something I look forward to and I wish that I could find a doctor / councilor more like her, only maybe not 1700 miles away.

Hi David, I applaud you for all the great work you’re doing on yourself. I’m sorry I’m not closer. But I have started a “Find A CEN Therapist” page which I hope will grow more and more complete and eventually end up covering the U.S. and the world. Here’s a link: http://www.drjonicewebb.com/find-a-cen-therapist-list-new/. I hope this helps. Take care.

So where would PDA fall? It sounds like the first one but also feels like it should have a category all of it’s own.
