    Interesting…yep….we do …do that, don’t we? Not to control their own thoughts….but, still, passing some thoughts on to the future generations too? Depending, of course, on |WHAT it is if YOU DO?

    This summer my daughter and two grandchildren lived with us for 3 months. I had a first hand opportunity to help parent my 4 year old grandson. Oh what conflict I had in my mind on her style. My method of parenting would trigger and past practices would charge forward to be implemented. Thank god I have been studying ACES awareness for the past 5 years.(Adverse Childhood Experience Study) So I never imposed my style. Everyday I would see choices offered on everything from clothes to food. It drove me crazy. This article clarifies what I witnesses. God bless my daughter’s patients. Shaming can be so subliminal. (In my defense I had 5 children with twins on the end. No time for choices. Meals were a buffet and as you were dressing one the others were taking their clothes off)
