There are many different types of depression. In most cases, depressed individuals usually have a heightened state of self awareness about themselves that they are lacking certain skills that many time helps them to self criticize their selves. Psychology is the study of the mind and behavior. sometimes, behaviorist tends to study an individual’s external behavior rather than their internal consciousness because they feel that sometimes it becomes irrelevant with how individuals behave in certain ways and then it can also be difficult to measure this information with total accuracy. There are many different reasons as to why someone might become depressed and some of their behaviors depend on certain benefits so when that benefit is gone, it is like that person doesn’t know how to cope with the fact that they will no longer be receiving these benefits that they were before which then puts them in that state of mind where they become moody and start behaving in different ways.

What you describe is not based in evidence, and has nothing to do with post-partum depression, which is biologically-based.
