I do believe that when we dream we are trying to find answers to questions that we think about when we are awake. I normally keep a journal and when I remember the dream I write it down. I have been doing this for many, many years only due to the fact that I have night terrors and was mentally and physically abused when I was young and into my teens. I do try to find answers to reduce the night terrors and so far they are not that bad and don’t have night terrors as much. With psychotherapy and trying to find answers to questions that are hidden in the back of my mind since I was very young. So yes, dream interpretation puts a different outlook on your daily life.

I have found latly that dreams are a mirror of my worries. For example I often dream about my friends. In reality I have been feeling that they will eventually give up on me because I suffer from depression. So every morning I am doing something with a friend and it seems it is the last time that I will see him
