Victim Services Unit Police Dog Lucca

The Vancouver Police Department’s Victim Services Unit has a new member – service dog Lucca.

This specially trained therapeutic dog helps victims of traumatic incidents by accompanying them to court, interviews, and other situations where an empathetic furry friend can help comfort someone as they go through a difficult legal process.

Lucca was able to join the Victim Services Unit thanks to funding from the Vancouver Police Foundation.
