    Let’s see
Howard Jones, “Things can only get better”
Coldplay “Clocks” — there is a lot of hope in this song. I also like “Yellow”–it’s such a sweet song it makes me smile when I hear it

I said in my post about miserable songs that virtually anything by Pink Floyd is depressing, but actually “Learning to Fly” is hopeful

U2 “Still haven’t found what I’m looking for,” ’40’, “One Tree Hill,”

Beatles, “Fixing a Hole,” “Don’t Let it Bring you down,” “Revolution,” “Magical Mystery Tour”
(annie lennox did a great version of “Don’t Let it Bring You Down”, also Neil Young

    Neil Young’s “Four Strong Winds”

Seal’s “I’m Alive,” “Crazy” and his version of “A Change is Gonna Come”

The Staples Singers, “I”ll Take you There”

and the bluegrass hymn “I know who holds tomorrow”, love it by Alison Krauss
