Maybe “bizarre” will come to be accepted as a good word.

He may have thanked his psychiatrist, but the fact is, she’s a psychologist. Based in Houston, TX. Which raises all kinds of ethical questions for some folks, if she’s not licensed in California (and I don’t see her on the California rolls). On the other hand, maybe she’s a great argument for what had to be a lot of Skype or telephone therapy.
    I’m just sayin’!

As Chris Erskine wrote recently in the LAT…

“So I finally track down Artest’s psychotherapist, the one who helped turn him from a source of fan frustration into Lakers hero. If Artest is a Cinderella story, Houston psychologist Santhi Periasamy is his fairy godmother.”

@ TPG – Thanks for the quote and link!

Also, very interesting observation (the whole Skype/telephone thing) – definitely something to ponder.
