    Hi Tamara,
I have had some grief type feelings and exhaustion as well as stress during the holidays but over all, I have to say I am feeling positive about the new year. I think that is partly because today I had an appointment with the nutritionist at the weight loss surgery center. I have been dreading it because I thought SURE I’d gained 5 to 8 lbs over the holiday season. I was happily surprised to learn I’d LOST 4 lbs. Not a large amount but better than my fear. I hope the rest of the year is like that too!

      Hi Lori,
Thanks for your comment and well wishes.
I’m glad to hear you have some hope about the new year. I must admit, I wasn’t ready for the holiday season and once I did get ready, it went too fast! At this point in the new year, I’m not so sure I am hopeful because I see so many things wrong in our society. As a therapist, I recognize so much work needs to be done in our society and in the individual lives of humanity.
I am hoping that the good will outlast the evil. That’s our only hope!

      Take care
