    ” Lo and behold, it’s not the joy you remember from your childhood.” Honestly, I almost wrote those exact words this morning. I think sometimes we work so hard to keep a holiday tradition going, just trying to recapture the magic that we used to feel, and it never seems to live up to our memories. So we try harder and harder, bringing on a gigantic burden to an already hectic time of the year. Sometimes we are our own worst enemies.
