    If they only read the notes from your last visit to former doc–that’s a fail. If they already have scripts written and signed and hand them to you when you enter–that’s a fail. Had both happen to me (different docs) and it surely wasn’t helpful in care.

    When I moved I also researched ages. I did not to get set up with a PDoc that would be retiring in a couple of years

    I look for many qualities, including ‘bedside’ manner, listening to me and more.

    I have had many bad pdocs in the past. The worst was many years ago. He medicated me so much with Xanax (I think to shut me up), I became addicted. It took a full year to wean off of it. I’ll never take it again.

    I’ve learned to fire them…after I’ve found a new doc. I am the consumer and I have the right to hire and fire!
