I had to take my Mireya out after 5 years in 2012 and I have been depressed since then, feeling better now that I’m taking Collagen and SeroVital.

I went off the deep end about a month after having an IUD. It was almost a manic state and in lasted for a few weeks. It slowly subsided.

I am bipolar with mixed state/rapid cycling. This IUD threw me off the deep end. 6 months still “recovering”.

Decided to keep it due to possible endometriosis and being pre-menopause.

Most side effects are manageable and I know my triggers well. No one told me about the side effects of mood swings and so forth.

Had I known I would have been much better prepared mentally. It was an absolute horrifying few months until I figured out I had not gone mad or totally lost it as the body had “adjusted” to the Mirena.
