Let’s finish up the month with the rest of this month’s positives despite coronavirus! As always, feel free to share your positive’s for the month in the comments.
Deciding to decorate our coffee table
In my last positives post, I mentioned that I had been buying stickers from friends to decorate my work laptop. Well, I loved it so much and it makes me feel so cheerful, that I decided to decorate our little coffee table with stickers from lots of small online sellers and artists. I’ve started collecting the stickers, focusing on things which make me smile; images which remind me of special memories; things that hold special significance to us personally; and ones which are just simply cheerful! Once we’ve got a table full, we’re going to decorate the table then seal it so the stickers don’t peel off. It’s been so fun seeing all the stickers arrive in the post.
Supporting small sellers
Aside from buying stickers, I’ve also been buying a lot more in general from smaller sellers and it brings me so much joy. Not only do you get to support someone reaching their dreams, but each item is also filled with so much love and care. All the items I’ve gotten have been packaged so beautifully. A lot of them have had handwritten personal notes, and some have even smelt amazing! What more could I want? I highly recommend buying from small sellers.
Looking forward to a holiday
Now that lockdown rules have started lifting, we’ve planned a couple of holidays within our own country. We’re very much looking forward to the break. We’re going to be in the middle of nowhere, just us and nature. It will be heavenly and hopefully, we’ll get some really good hiking done. We might even get to see some amazing wildlife.
One of our favourite parks re-opening
One of our favourite parks we went to regularly with our dogs for hiking before lockdown, has recently reopened. It’s so beautiful and it’s lovely to be back there again. I feel lucky to have such gorgeous nature just up the road from where I live (you wouldn’t think it since we live in a city)!
I hope that you’ve all had as good a month as possible and that you’ve managed to find some positives throughout your month. Remember that there’s always joy to be found, even amongst the darkness. Stay safe!
