Carrying on from part one, this is numbers 16-30 of fun things you can do if you’re under self-isolation.
16. Create your own board game!
If you don’t have a board game or you’re bored of the ones you do have, you could create your own! You can make it based around any concept you like, really let yourself have fun with it.
17. Jazz up a piece of clothing
Pick a piece of clothing you don’t really wear anymore and make it more interesting. You could sew it to alter it, use fabric pens (posca ones are great) or fabric paint to make it more interesting, add decorative patches, or even tie-dye it!
18. Organize and declutter your home
You could use this opportunity to organize your home, to declutter and clean so you’re environment is looking great.
19. Write letters to your loved ones
Most people use email, social media, phone calls and text now to keep in touch with each other. Sometimes letter writing can feel so much more personal. You could write letters to all of your loved ones and post them when you are back to your usual routine.
20. Put your favourite music on and dance around your living room
Get your favourite song on that just makes you feel happy, and dance around! Be silly! Sing along! Have fun!
21. Go through your wardrobe and pick out clothes to donate
If there are things you no longer wear, you could create a bag of clothes to donate to charity once you’re able.
22. Make a scrapbook
You could make a scrapbook of happy memories, about your life, or to plan for the future!
23. Teach your pet a new trick (if you have one)
If you have a pet, you could teach them a new trick, play with them, clean them out or groom them!
24. Make handmade gifts for all of your family and friends
You could make anything you like, from decorated drinking glasses, handmade candles or paintings! There are so many options.
25. Have a pamper day
Set aside some time to really pamper yourself. You could take a bath, do a facial treatment, paint your nails, soak your feet, deep condition your hair, the whole works!
26. Colour in
Get a colouring book (you can get really fun ones for adults too) and colour in. It can be really relaxing.
27. Set some new goals for the rest of the year
Setting goals for the future helps you to think more positively and focus on the future, rather than just what is happening in the present.
28. Write a list of all the positive things in your life
Making a list of all of the positive things you can think of can help to shift your mindset and make you feel more optimistic.
29. Plan a holiday for next year
Plan a holiday in detail for the coming year. This could be a holiday you will actually go on, or it could be your dream trip just for fun.
30. Call people you haven’t spoken to in a while
Reach out to people you might not have heard from for a while. You could call them or use social media. Find out what they’ve been up to and strengthen that connection.
