I agree with all the tips. However, when you make the suggestion #6, “Stay Calm”, this typically creates more stress rather than decreases stress or anxiety. The best way calm yourself from a physiological perspective, is to connect with people, places or activities that are restorative.
Example: If you’re feeling anxious, just stepping outside in the fresh air, listening to calming music or meditating can ground you. It can calm you, so that you can figure out the root of why your feeling stress or anxiety.

I love this article and it has some great tips. I use to suffer from stress and anxiety but I now use a variety of tools that have worked for me and my friends. I lost two sisters in the last 4 years (yep, lots of stress) and started my own coaching practice to work with women to create a healthier and happier life. I love speaking and teaching about these tools in my business Extraordinary Wellness Coaching.

This article is worth a read. Now a days, stress has become a part and parcel of everyone’s life, that no one seems to care. They simply ignore and take it as something common. But stress can affect not just body, but also one’s mood and behaviour. Muscle spasms, frequent colds, stammering, Insomnia, compulsive behavior and many more result due to this. A variety of massage therapies and counselling treatments have come up as a boon for sufferers. So its better to opt for a recognized massage therapy, like the one at Erin Mills (Mississaunga). I would highly recommend their service.

Very simple yet powerful tips! Reminded me of my favorite book by Dan Millman title The Laws of Sprits. Though all very helpful can be extremely hard to apply when losing control. Which sometimes I can not avoid.. no matter how hard i try.
