Graduate school and bipolar has been the story of my life since August. It hasn’t been great for my health. My first semester included a few mixed episodes, lots of depression, a return to self-harm and ended with a suicide attempt. I only got through it because I did have my mom’s house to go back to. I did go back though, probably because of a complete lack of anything else in my life.

Oh my, I have just recently begun to recover from a similar situation. I am still not back at work. I am lucky to have supportive parents as well. My work has also done so much for me. My position will be there when I am better and I have been off for a year. Bipolar disorder is a tornado just tearing through your life. I enjoyed the post, it made me feel better about having had to move home as well.
