Project Semicolon

Rarely do I write a provocative blog post, but today I will. This will make some of you mad, but it is my personal opinion. Many of you will write comments of offense and that is okay.

Wow, Elaina. I commend you on your honesty. I have been reminded many times that each and everyone of us with mental health issues has a story, some worse than others. Yet we are here today to prove that we have survived one more day. We will never know what Amy was going through before her suicide. The fact is that depression kills, as does diabetes. My hope is that both your blog and project semi colon inspires people to give one more day a chance to prove your story is not over- you don’t need a tatoo to prove that. Your blog has validated my own queries and couldn’t have come at a better time for me. Thank you.
