Hugs Elaine, always love the open honestly you bring with your blog. What you’ve written is so true, and its easy to see once written how something so seemingly easy can sap a days worth of energy. That’s after psyching yourself up to actually shower. Baby wipes are my go to. Showering is incredibly hard, but i can’t do it, and sometimes it’s a couple of weeks, yet i grew up in a house where we didn’t go to bed without a shower. I smell clean and look clean thanks to baby wipes. My last shower, I walked into the shower fully dressed did under the water then hopped back out, hung my clothes on the line and dried myself of. I pride myself on being clean, OCD tidy and presentable if i see anyone. Behind closed doors, the thoughts tire me before I start. A Days energy goes into a shower. A days energy into taking an unexpected phone call, or cleaning an area of the house properly. Which means doing it half a dozen times before i can accept its clean.

Oh how i know what your saying. I gross myself out when i think about it, hate admitting it to others, but it’s bipolar. So tour best, forget the rest.

Of only I could get my head to think that and live it.

    Thank you for sharing
