I do not have it… my daughter does, or I think, she does, it was never officially diagnosed, or it was? sad to admit how little I know about my only child. I read articles and comments… because I want to know to understand, to hope? … this one about “comparing yourself” caught my attention . I am glad that I read it… simple and brilliant observation, it concerns all of us , not only bipolar. I find myself oftentime downgraded , inadequate looking at these pictures of happy, smiling face, excellent surroundings, impeccable houses… even jealous… you delivered immense comfort by confirming that’s not real…that it is a moment of camera click… and the glitter could be ephemeral, glimpse… and reality could be as ordinary as ours. Thank you
